All about the role:

As a part of the Engineering PMO, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing critical engineering projects. This role, reporting to the Global Director of Engineering Operations, involves coordinating project management activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, building, interpreting and driving departmental reporting, managing budgets, and improving operational processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Monitor and report on project progress, resource allocation, risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering activities with overall company objectives.
• Manage engineering resources as applicable, including staff allocation, training, and development.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration within the engineering team and with other departments.

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience in Program Management: At least 5 years of experience in a Program Management role or a similar position within a technical environment. Experience should include direct management of complex projects and leading diverse teams.
• Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in project management, with a track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale engineering projects. 
• Technical Skills: Strong technical background with an understanding of engineering principles and practices. Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bias to Execution / Problems Solving: This role will support the Product Development Team (Product & Engineering) in its continued transformation and it is a requirement to be a driver of projects and support overall team effectiveness. 
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to tackle complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software and tools  such as Atlassian suite (JIra, Confluence) along with familiarity with engineering software relevant to your industry.
• Focus on quality and execution: Significant experience with quality programs, Scrum teams, Agile teams, and overall technical project management.
